10 Module Online Webinar Series

This course has been designed to give you comprehensive, up-to-date oncological care strategies from the best in the industry. Our presenters show you how to develop effective care plans for the 3 phases of cancer care. You get easy access to the most respected thought leaders in natural cancer care with a program specifically designed to increase clinicians skills to obtain the best results for the cancer patient.

The fact is, cancer diagnosis is increasing. We have more people being diagnosed with cancer, more people being treated for cancer, and more people exiting conventional medical care who are at risk for recurrence.

The problem when helping a patient with this distressing issue is often a lack of confidence or feeling overwhelmed with how to best care for cancer. At each of these phases, you have a considerable amount of support you can provide. You don’t want to miss the many opportunities to help them, and to partner with their specialists to provide high-level, carefully considered, natural cancer care.

Note: Receive two bonus webinars on Integrative Comanagement Strategies and Primary Prevention with Dr Lise Alschuler with the purchase of this event.

The Natural Oncology Masterclass is really about taking your care plans to the next level by helping you understand personalised natural cancer care. The effective strategies you will learn will give you the confidence and direction to 1. prevent primary cancers 2. to optimise medical care and 3. to prevent recurrence.

  • A very large proportion of cancer is preventable.
  • Patients receiving chemotherapy can benefit tremendously from natural care.
  • Patients that have had a cancer may get it back. How will you help them?

Phase 1. Cancer Prevention

In Phase 1 – Cancer Prevention Care there are many recognised prevention strategies for the various cancer risk profiles. You need to know what they are to prevent those cancers.

Phase 2. Care During Conventional Treatment

In Phase 2 Care – During Conventional Treatment there are many natural strategies proven to be effective. You don’t want to do nothing as there are lots of opportunities. And you certainly don’t want to make it worse. Create the best strategy for each type of cancer and for each treatment protocol. You can greatly improve their chance to achieve success.

Phase 3. After Care and Preventing Reoccurrence

Phase 3 Care – After Treatment is important for preventing tumor recurrence. The number of people living post cancer is growing rapidly, but their risk of recurrence is high. Proven natural strategies are hugely valuable to these people.

Don’t miss out on the most comprehensive, clinically-focussed program available to deliberately increase your skill base.

Without this knowledge, your patients are missing out on quality cancer care. Your patients are counting on you. Where else can they turn to for high-quality, safe and reliable natural cancer support?

  • Stress does have a demonstrated role in cancer. Find out how and when.
  • New drug development is happening super fast, you need to keep up because they have very different mechanisms than most used previously.
  • There are numerous theories of cancer, not only gene mutations. Understanding carcinogenesis in its broadest sense impacts treatment strategies. We go into very interesting mechanisms of cancer that raise many opportunities for sophisticated cancer care.
  • Cancer arises in the context of a disturbed cellular microenvironment. Almost all environmental and lifestyle factors influence the microenvironment in some way. Understanding these factors changes the way you think about, prevent and treat cancer.
  • Our most potent ability may be to prevent cancer recurrence (secondary prevention). There are thousands of people who need our risk reduction strategies
  • Exercise is imperative, but what type and how often is a critical understanding.
  • Antioxidants in cancer care is poorly understood and controversial. Being familiar with the findings from this body of research will give you the confidence to make safe and effective recommendations.
  • Knowing what side effects can be expected with certain cancer treatments is important so that we can recognize and provide supportive treatments.
  • Cancer survivors are left alone after treatment and need our care. These people are growing enormously in numbers and we have lots to offer.
  • There are many layers and elements to effective integrative cancer care, and this care extends over the lifespan of the patient.
  • Having confidence in cancer care shows. A confident practitioner has trusting, compliant, happy patients and this encourages referrals.
  • A cancer care program is marketable.
  • We can create concepts that the patient will understand and this empowers them.
  • Clinicians that specialise in cancer do very well.
  • This high-level program raises clinical competency to significantly improve patient care.

  • Engaging and highly informative presentations from the most recognised names in natural oncology care
  • Thorough investigation and explanation of the tests, examinations and test analyses
  • Precise explanations of how to achieve outstanding clinical results
  • A PDF of all presentation slides
  • Instant access to the videos and audio recordings of all presentations
  • Links to research papers and useful clinical handouts
  • Your exclusive invitation to the Health Masters Live Alumni

dr-dugald-seelyDr Dugald Seely ND, FABNO leads the clinical practice and cancer research program for the OICC. In addition to his clinical role as a naturopathic doctor he also serves as the director of research & clinical epidemiology at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, affiliate investigator for the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, and board member for the Society for Integrative Oncology.

As founder of the OICC, Dugald is pioneering a contemporary cancer treatment model based on scientifically grounded, evidence-informed complementary medicine. With the establishment of the first integrative cancer care and research centre in Eastern Canada, Dugald and his team are providing whole-person integrative care to people living with cancer and addressing research gaps in whole-systems of cancer care.

Dugald completed his M.Sc. in cancer research at the University of Toronto and is a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO). As a clinician scientist, Dugald has been awarded competitive grant and trainee funding from CIHR, CBCRA, the SickKids Foundation, the Lotte and John Hecht Memorial Foundation, the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, and the Gateway for Cancer Research Foundation. Dugald is the principal investigator for a number of clinical trials and syntheses projects with the goal of building on the growing body the evidence that supports integrative oncology.

Dugald strongly believes in the ability of evidence-based medicine to effect positive change in the health-care system. As an educator, researcher, clinician, and frequent speaker at conferences around the world, Dugald is seeking to shift the debate towards a more whole-person cancer care model that is espoused by integrative oncology. www.oicc.ca

dr-Tina-KaczorDr Tina Kaczor ND, FABNO is a naturopathic physician with board certification in naturopathic oncology. After graduating from National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in 2000, she completed a 2-year clinical residency in integrative oncology at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is well versed in conventional cancer care and this allows her to safely integrate natural therapies that complement the conventional treatments. Dr Kaczor’s ability to integrate conventional and natural therapies stems from her strong background and continuing education in the field of oncology and molecular biology.

She graduated magna cum laude from SUNY-Buffalo with dual undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and English. While at SUNY, her hands on molecular biology work resulted in a publication in the journal Plant Physiology. Currently, her professional focus is understanding the molecular environment of cancerous growth with the aim of altering the environment in such a way that the cancer is unable to thrive.

Dr Kaczor was formerly adjunct faculty at National College of Natural Medicine, overseeing students on a dedicated oncology clinic shift at the NCNM Health Clinic in Portland, Oregon.

She is senior medical editor of the peer-reviewed Natural Medicine Journal, the official publication of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
